2024T3 aluminum coil is one
of the best known high strength aluminum alloys
and widely used as aircraft aluminum.
High strength and excellent fatigue resistance make 2024T3 aluminum a great alloy for
structural parts where
good strength-to-weight ratio is desired. Welding 2024T3 is generally not
recommended.
Our 2024T3 aluminum coil is "alclad". Alclad is an aluminum or aluminum alloy
coating that is metallurgically bonded to both sides of the surface of the sheet.
This alclad coating protects the aluminum sheet against corrosion while giving it shiny
finish that can also be polished out to mirror finish.
Shipping the aluminum coil rolled, is the least expensive way of shipping.
2024T3 Alcald aluminum coil has been a favorite of RV restorers also, the bright
shiny finish is excellent for Airstream and Spartan travel trailers, as well as other RVs.
