Our 6061 T6 round aluminum tubing
comes in 12' long. We sell 6' or 12' tube lengths only. We can cut 12' to ship
UPS if you would like. 6061-T6 aluminum tubing is a commonly used in the aircraft
industry because of it's strength, weldability, and ease of machining. 6061-T6 bare obtains its
properties by an artificial aging process. 6061T6 aluminum tubing can be furnance brazed
and welded by all types of welding. 6061T6 offers a good range of mechanical
properties. It can be fairly easliy fabricated by most of the commonly used
techniques.
Yield strength for our 6061-T6 tubing is 40,000 psi., tensile 45,000 psi. .
